Keizer Homegrown Theatre

BRANDING & GRAPHIC DESIGN
LOGO IDENTITY, BRAND STYLE GUIDE

AFTER

BEFORE

The local theater group approached me to help them with several projects. First (and most importantly), was their brand. After 10 years of existence, many local people were still unaware that Keizer Homegrown Theatre even existed, let alone that they had reinstated live performances after relaxation of mandates stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic. Part one (#1) of this reintroduction was to develop and introduce a fresh visual identity. Most board members were fairly comfortable with the current logo that they were using since the organization’s inception 10 years prior, but it needed simplification and refinement. After the logo was finalized, a brand style guide was developed to show them how to maintain brand integrity: integrating appropriate typefaces and colors for marketing pieces, and how to use — and not use — their logo.

PRINT MEDIA
GRAPHIC DESIGN, SHOW POSTERS

&Rew Branding has designed posters for every Keizer Homegrown Theatre shows since late 2022. Here’s a sampling of our favorites. For the posters, we were asked to adopt a similar bottom strip from past KHT posters. Also on the print side of projects, were season rack cards and flyers to pass out at their booth at the local festival, KeizerFEST.

SOCIAL MEDIA & EMAIL MARKETING
COPYWRITING, GRAPHIC DESIGN, MOTION GRAPHICS

Andrew Branding developed a plan of attack for KHT’s social media presence. The most important aspect was to increase ticket sales. Secondary goals were to get more people involved in the group and to solicit donations from individuals and local businesses.
